With roots stretching back two decades to the original Embarcadero 41 in Lima, Peru, the U.S. expansion arrived in 2018 with one mission: to share the depth and creativity of Peruvian-Japanese fusion in a space that felt personal and warm. The Pembroke Pines location, which opened in December 2023 in Pines City Center, delivers exactly that — a small, cozy room with soft lighting, warm wood tones, and comfortable seating that feels like a special night out every time. The menu is a celebration of Nikkei tradition: a stunning trio of ceviches — each exploring a different balance of citrus, spice, and texture — alongside inventive sushi rolls topped with ceviche sauce or finished with steak. Hearty mains include seafood rice rich with white wine and parmesan, beef flamed with pisco and soy, and rocoto-laced risotto topped with juicy steak.
