Two farmers markets call Pembroke Pines home — a Thursday evening night market and a relaxed Sunday market. Both are free to enter and packed with local flavor.
Pembroke Pines' own weekly farmers market, right in the Pembroke Lakes Mall parking lot. Thursday evenings bring fresh produce, artisan foods, baked goods, plants, and handcrafted items from local vendors. The evening hours make it perfect for an after-work stop — grab fresh ingredients for the weekend or a ready-to-eat dinner from the food vendors.
A relaxed Sunday farmers market at Pembroke Pines' premier outdoor shopping destination. Browse fresh produce, local honey, artisan crafts, baked goods, and specialty foods while enjoying the open-air atmosphere. Combine your market run with brunch at one of the Shops' many restaurants — it makes for a perfect Sunday morning outing.
🚗 Worth the Drive
These destination markets are a short drive from Pembroke Pines and deliver an experience that's well worth the trip — from a massive 300-vendor market to a working farm where you can meet the animals.
The big one. Yellow Green is South Florida's largest farmers market with over 300 vendors under one roof. Fresh produce from local farms, organic foods, artisan breads, specialty cheeses, fresh seafood, exotic spices, plants, handmade crafts, and prepared foods spanning cuisines from around the world. Plan to spend a few hours — there's that much to explore. About a 15-minute drive from Pembroke Pines and absolutely worth the trip.
A true community farmers market with a small-town feel, held at Southwest Meadows Sanctuary Park. Local growers and artisans set up shop every Saturday with seasonal produce, fresh eggs, plants, handmade soaps, and baked goods. Less crowded and more relaxed than the big destination markets — you can actually chat with the farmers and learn about what's in season. Just a few minutes from western Pembroke Pines.
More than a market — Marando Farms is a working farm where you can see where your food comes from. Shop for farm-fresh eggs, raw milk, grass-fed meats, and seasonal produce grown right on the property. The real draw is the farm experience: kids love the animals, and weekends often bring live music, food trucks, and family activities. A true taste of South Florida's agricultural roots just outside Pembroke Pines.
A long-running community farmers market at Volunteer Park in Plantation, about 15-20 minutes from Pembroke Pines. Known for its friendly vendors, excellent produce selection, fresh-baked breads, local honey, and artisan crafts. The park setting is beautiful — shaded by mature trees — making it a pleasant Saturday morning outing even in the Florida heat.

The best produce and most popular vendors sell out fast. Aim to arrive within the first hour of opening for the fullest selection — especially at Yellow Green and the Pembroke Lakes Night Market.
While many vendors now accept cards and mobile payments, some of the best small farmers and artisans are cash-only. Bring small bills — it makes transactions faster and vendors appreciate it.
A sturdy reusable tote (or two) makes market shopping much easier. For bigger hauls at Yellow Green, a small rolling cart is a game-changer — you'll see the regulars with them.
If you're buying perishables — fresh eggs, cheese, meat, or dairy — bring a cooler with ice packs in your car. Florida heat doesn't mess around, even on a short drive home.
