The City of Pembroke Pines runs several camp programs across multiple locations. Registration for residents typically opens in early April and popular sessions fill fast. All city camps run June 8–July 31 with select dates closed.
The City of Pembroke Pines runs multiple summer camp programs across several locations. Weekly sessions running June through July with half-day and full-day options. Activities include arts and crafts, swimming, field trips, outdoor play, and team games. Camp hours 7:30 AM–6:00 PM full-day, 7:30 AM–1:00 PM half-day.
Held at the Pembroke Pines Arts and Cultural Center, this camp offers creative arts programming for young artists. Art camp (ages 6–11) features drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture projects. Drama camp (ages 8–12) offers theater games, improvisation, and a performance showcase. Full-day program with swimming, field trips, and outdoor play.
Tennis and pickleball instruction for ages 6–16 at Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center. Half-day ($175/week) and full-day ($275/week) options with professional instruction, drills, match play, and water activities. Open 7:30 AM–6:00 PM full-day, 7:30 AM–1:00 PM half-day.

Two-week sessions at $160 per session ($80/week maximum) with a sliding fee scale available. Offers recreational activities, social skills development, and supervised care in a supportive environment.
The City-run EDC summer camp at Central Campus serves kindergarten through 4th grade with stimulating activities and developmental experiences. $235/week with a $275 activity fee and $50 registration fee. Limited to 50 campers — first come, first served. Camp runs 7 weeks minimum (June 8–July 31, closed June 19 and July 3).

A technology-focused summer camp blending STEAM activities with traditional summer fun. Coding, robotics, science experiments, creative arts, and outdoor play — all on one safe campus. Weekly themes, field trips, and included meals and snacks. Ages 5–12. Small class sizes with tech-enhanced curriculum.
The Pembroke Pines YMCA Family Center runs summer camp programs focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Swimming, sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and character-building activities in a safe, welcoming environment.
Summer skating camps at Pines Ice Arena offer learn-to-skate instruction, skating games, and on-ice activities for all skill levels. A unique way to beat the South Florida heat — literally. All equipment included in camp fee.
Summer camp programs at Gravity Gymnastics in Miramar focus on tumbling, gymnastics, and physical movement. A high-energy option for active kids who want to build strength, coordination, and confidence in a structured but fun environment.
City of Pembroke Pines summer camp registration for residents opens in early April at 9 AM. Some sessions fill within hours, especially Art Camp, Drama Camp, and the EDC Summer Camp (limited to 50 campers). Create your CivicRec account on ppines.com ahead of time, have camper information ready, and log in 15 minutes before registration opens. Non-resident registration opens two weeks later. For private camps (Nowtech, YMCA, Gravity Gymnastics), registration typically opens earlier — check their websites starting in February.
The City of Pembroke Pines Early Development Center also runs Mini Camps during school breaks — teacher work days, winter break, and spring break. $50/day with a $50 registration fee.
